Kilmacabea GAA Community Festival 2018

 

Once again the Kilmacabea GAA Community Festival will take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend. There is a wide variety of events taking place over the 6 days and there is something on in Leap for young and old this August Bank Holiday weekend. The following is the programme of events:

Wednesday Aug 1st to Monday August 6th 2018

 

Wednesday August 1st   

7pm.  Fr. Crowley cup semi-final in GAA grounds.

Thursday August 2nd

8pm.  Ladies Night in Leap Parish Hall.

Friday August 3rd             

7pm. Registration of Charity Run at GAA Clubhouse.

7.45pm. 5km Run in aid of West Cork Rapid Response medical kits

7-10pm  Music on the street.

  9.30pm.  Pub Singing in the Leap Inn with music by Noel O’Donovan.

Saturday August 4th

4pm. Fr. Crowley Cup Final in GAA Grounds

4pm. Dog Show

5pm. Air Ambulance Display

5pm. Children’s Sports followed by Novelty Sports for all ages

6-8pm. BBQ in GAA Grounds.

9-11pm Street Disco by Ciaran O Sullivan.

10pm. Sing along in Shanahan’s Bar.

Sunday August 5th           

5-7pm. Dancing at the Crossroads.

8pm. Monster Rag Parade leaving GAA field to parade village

7.30-10pm Music on the street by Michael Ronan

 

Monday August 6th

2.30pm. Treasure Hunt in Rosscarbery.

10.00pm. Fun Charades in the Harbour Bar followed by Hamper Draw
