Club Notes 28-03-2019

The u21 Footballers pulled off a fantastic win last Friday night in Dunmanway beating Bantry Blues by 1-12 to 1-9. A full report on the game appears elsewhere in this section.

The Junior 3 footballers were also in action over the weekend, when they recorded their third league win of the season, as they defeated Gabriel Rangers by 3-14 to 0-3 in Ballydehob on Saturday evening.

Damien Gore came off the bench early in the second half for the Cork Senior Footballers on Sunday away to Armagh on Sunday, and despite scoring a crucial point late on, it wasn’t enough as results elsewhere meant that the County footballers will be playing Division 3 football next year in the National Football League.

Congratulations to U21 starlet Keith Whelton, who was part of the Skibbereen rugby U18’s who defeated Cobh Pirates in the Munster U18 Cup final in Irish Independent Park yesterday evening.
