Club Notes 26-06-2018
Our Junior 3 Footballers travelled to Ahamilla on Wednesday evening the 20th June to take on the home side Clonakilty. Missing numbers from the opening league game against Kilmeen, nonetheless that did’nt stop the KIlmacs from recording an impressive 1-13 to 1-8 victory over the home side. Great credit goes to all the players that turned up on the night and put in a tremendous effort over the full hour.
The panel on the night included; Kevin McCarthy, Brian Hayes, Niall McCarthy, Peadar O Leary, Dara Tobin, Tom French, Jack Connolly, Niall Bowkett, Eamonn O Sullivan, Conor O Callaghan, Colin McCarthy, Liam Thompson, Noel McCarthy, Eoin O Sullivan, Kevin O Donovan, Brian O Donovan and Sean O Regan
Our U14 Footballers carried on their impressive form this season by defeating St James from Ardfield by 9-16 to 4-11 in the league on Thursday evening the 21st June. This result means that they have now qualified for the final of their section of the league. Well done to all the players and the management team of Sean Tobin, John McCarthy, Kevin Cooke and Kevin O Driscoll.

Congratulations to Damien Gore and his Cork U20 teammates who qualified for the Munster Final after a 1-16 to 0-15 victory over Clare in Pairc Ui Rinn last Friday evening 22nd June 2018.
Damien put in another selfless display, as his movement and reading of the game brought his fellow players in the game and he can be proud of his performance.
Damien and his teammates will now travel to Austin Stack Park on Friday evening to take on Kerry in the Munster U20 Football Final at 7:30pm and all associated with Kilmacabea GAA Club wish Damien and the Cork team the very best of luck on Friday night
Well done to Owen Tobin, Padraig Gore and Liam McCarthy who represented their County, when the Cork West U14 team travelled to Galway on Saturday last the 23rd June 2018 to take on the home county in a number of games.
Fixtures for the coming week: Junior Football League Division 1 v Ballinascarthy on Thursday 28th at 8pm in Ballinascarthy.
