As the 2019 season has begun, All associated with Kilmacabea GAA Club will look back at the 2018 season with both pride and sadness in equal measure. The pride in seeing our Junior A Footballers retain their West Cork title and their run to the 2018 County Junior A Football Championship Final, was plain to see and lifted the whole parish.
The events of Saturday 27th October 2018, do not need to be resurrected at this stage but the deflation felt throughout the club and parish was palpable.
On the run to the County Final the club was inundated with well wishers and messages of support for the Junior A team.
