Club Notes 23-09-2021
The U9 footballers were involved in a very entertaining Blitz on Saturday morning last. A great mornings’s football was had and the early autumn sunshine just made the room of the blitz go so smoothly. Thanks again to the four clubs that took part on the morning: Carbery Rangers, Castlehaven, O Donovan Rossa and Tadgh MacCarthaigh. Thanks also to the coaches, parents and stewards that helped on the day aswell.
Our Junior A Footballers are back in Championship action again this Sunday evening, as they take on great rivals Tadgh MacCarthaigh in Rosscarbery at 5:15pm. We met the same opposition at the semi final stage last year and after a titanic struggle in monsoon conditions in Dunmanway it was the Kilmacs that prevailed by two points on that night. We would encourage that you get out and support the lads as they look to continue in the championship.
Again tickets will be available to purchase on the gate and we remind all our supporters to show respect to all stewards and officials during and after the game.
Kilmacabea GAA is passionate about the GIVE RESPECT GET RESPECT programme set down by Croke Park.
