Club Notes: 23-11-2023
Kililen U21’s were due to take on Clann Na Gael in their final group game on Sunday last but this game was cancelled and the points were awarded to Kililen after Clann Na Gael could not field on the day. This result means that the team now top the group and will take on Kilbrittain in the final of the B2 section of the championship. This game is fixed for Sunday 26th at 2:30pm in Rosscarbery. Best of luck to all involved on the day.
Kilmacabea parish was very well represented on the Rosscarbery ladies Minor Football team that defeated Beara in the County Final played in Newtown, Rosscarbery last Sunday afternoon. The ladies that represented the parish and their families with pride were as follows: Caroline Beamish, Rachel Cooke, Lauren O Donovan, Kellieanne French, Raonaird Kerrisk, Sophie O Donovan, Sarah McCarthy, Katie Whelton
A reminder that Kilmacabea GAA AGM takes place this coming Friday night, 24th November at 7:30pm in the GAA Pavilion. All new members welcome.
The club is having a clothes collection as a fundraiser for the club. Bags can be dropped in the clubhouse (under the stairs) up until the end of November. No pillows or duvets, if you need access to the clubhouse please contact either Narelle Jennings or Jennifer Sweetnam.
The club/community council lotto is up and running again since the start of the year, so don’t forget to play as the draw takes place every Monday night. Tickets can be bought at the usual local outlets at a price of €2 each or 3 for €5. Also the Lotto can be played online at www.leaplotto.ie and also on the Club force app by selecting Leap Lotto.
