The club would like to congratulate two current players who were part of CIT’s Trench Cup final victory over Mary Immaculate College, Limerick recently. Damien Gore played a starring role, as he kicked 0-8 points to help his side ease to a comfortable 2-20 to 0-12 win. Matthew O Neill was also on the panel for the final as a sub goalkeeper. It was great to see two Kilmacabea men representing the club so well at colleges level.
Ian Jennings will also be on the Cork U20 panel as they face Clare in the 1st Round of the Munster U2O Football Championship in Miltown Malbay on Wednesday the 26th at 7pm.
The club was awarded the Bronze Coaching award at the latest Rebel Og benchmarking for 2019 recently. Well done to all our underage coaches and volunteers who continue to put in great work with all our underage teams.
The Junior A Footballers got their 2020 league campaign underway, last Sunday after as they overcame the challenge of Clonakilty in Leap by 1-13 to 0-9.
