Results Update: Championship exits for both U14 and Minor teams

Both the U14 and Minor footballers made their exit from their respective championships over the past weekend, the 15th and 16th of September.

Firstly on Saturday the 15th the Minor footballers made the short trip to Ardfield to take on Kilmeen in the semi final of the championship. Despite the difficult conditions on the night, the Kilmac lads put in a huge effort but it was the men from Rossmore who found scoring a lot easier to come by and ran out comfortable winners by 1-1 to 2-9.

This was a disappointing result for this team but their are some good footballers at this age group and they can improve over the coming years.

The U14’s footballers made the long trek to Kealkil on Sunday morning to take on Adrigole in the semi final of their championship. Despite enduring a bad start the Kilmacs gradually played their way into this game and hitting some fine second half scores, were just pipped by a better balanced Beara side on the day.
