Fr. Pat O Sullivan RIP

It was with great sadness that the club heard today of the sad passing of Fr. Pat O Sullivan MSC (retired).

Fr. Pat had been parish priest in the parish of Kilmacabea and Kilfachtnabeg for 15 years up until his retirement in August 2017. During his time working in the parish, Fr Pat, as he was affectionately known to all, served as first Vice President and then President of Kilmacabea GAA Club.

He had a huge interest in Gaelic Games and as a true Beara man that he was, attended regular Kilmacabea GAA games at all levels. Fr. Pat was always interested in the fortunes of the teams in the club and in his early days in the parish was present at numerous meetings which led to the redevelopment of the grounds at John William Goulding Park.

Fr. Pat will be sadly missed by all his many friends in the parish and certainly by all those within Kilmacabea GAA Club
