Club Notes 24-01-2019
Our U21 footballers were the first team into action for 2019, when they welcomed Ballingeary to Leap on Sunday 20th in a challenge game. On a decent surface, and with bright sunshine throughout, it was the Kilmac’s that took the initiative and playing some excellent football in the opening half lead by 2-7 to 2-5 at the short whistle. The game continued in a similar vain in the 2nd half and the Kilmacs edged the game slightly on fitness and managed to run out winners by 3-13 to 3-9. The panel on the day was as follows: Eoghan Burns, Kieran Grace, Peter Hayes, Odhran Kerrisk, Darren Whooley, Jack Connolly, Keith Whelton, Ian Jennings, Ronan Maddix, Jamie Ronan, Ellis Wilson, Tiernan Kerrisk, Dara Tobin, Niall Bowkett, Adrian Gore, Dan Lynch.
Anybody who wants to go to the Dinner Dance on the Saturday 2nd February in The Celtic Ross Hotel, special guest Paudie Palmer, are asked to contact Jennifer Sweetnam and Kay Ronan by Friday, as the The Celtic Ross need to know numbers by Saturday. Tickets are priced at €30.
