Club Notes 04-04-2019
The U21 Footballers exited the championship on Saturday night, when they were defeated by a much stronger Newcestown outift in Dunmanway. A full report appears elsewhere in this section.
Despite this defeat, the club would like to thank Liam Thompson and his whole management team for all the hard work, they and the players put in for the past few months.
On Sunday our Junior A Footballers travelled to Aughaville to take on Tadgh MacCarthaigh in the league. While the team were missing a lot of players, those available put in a great effort and were unlucky to lose out by a single point in the end, Kilmacabea 1-9 Tadgh MacCarthaigh 2-7.
Best wishes to Matthew O Neill who suffered a nasty shoulder injury before the game in Aughaville.
On Saturday afternoon in Leap, our U16’s took on Kilmeen in the league and put in an excellent performance to come out winners by 4-10 to 2-10.
