Club Notes 25-7-2019

While action on the playing fields was in short supply this past week, there was much to be proud of for Kilmacs.

Congratulations to Damien Gore and his Cork under-20 team-mates on a fantastic win over Kerry in the Munster Final on Thursday night last in Pairc Ui Rinn. Damien played a key role in the victory, starting corner forward, scoring two points and being a constant threat throughout the game. There is also a Kilmac connection with the winning captain Peter O’Driscoll, so much to be proud of. Best wishes to Damien, Peter and the team in the All-Ireland Semi-Final versus Tyrone this coming Sunday in Tullamore.

Kilmacabea GAA Community Festival kicks off this coming week with plenty of entertainment for young and old alike.

At the time of writing the Junior A Championship Round 3 game versus St Colum’s has yet to be fixed but keep an eye on club social media and locally for details.
