All Ireland Trophies come to Maultrahane

It was an exciting morning in Maultrahane National School, as James McCarthy (Castlehaven and Minor selector) and Peter O Driscoll (U20 All Ireland winning captain) brought the All Ireland U20 and U17 (Minor) trophies to the school. They were welcomed with a huge cheer and all the boys and girls were decked out in their red and white. Club chairman Dan Hourihane and Kevin O Driscoll were also present to welcome James and Peter. It is interesting to also note that Peter O Driscoll began his formal education in Maultrahane NS under the guidance of John “Master” Collins.
