Club Notes 25-08-2022

On Friday 12th our Junior A Footballers took on Clonakilty in the final championship group game. Starting without some regulars, it was the Kilmacs who emerged victorious by 3-11 to 0-9 and advanced to the quarter final of the championship as group runners up. The team will now take on St Marys and this game is fixed for Sunday 28th at 3:30pm in Rossmore. Best of luck to Sam on the lads on Sunday.

On Sunday evening last Ruairi Hourihane was part of the Carbery Senior Footballers that defeated Duhallow in the Premier Senior Divisions/Colleges Section final in Pairc Ui Rinn by 0-16 to 0-15. This is a great achievement and means that the Carbery team will now go forward to face one of the club sides in the Quarter Final of the PSFC. We wish Ruairi and his teammates the very best of luck for the rest of the championship season.

Our U15 Footballers welcomed Ilen Rovers to Leap on Friday night last and after a wonderful game of football, it was the Kilmacs who had to give way to Ilen on the night, by 0-13 to 2-9.

Our U13 Footballers welcomed Owen Gaels to Leap on Monday night and recorded a 4-14 to 3-12 win in the league

Our U12 girls will take on White’s Cross in the County Section of the league after their tremendous West Cork win. This game is fixed for 12 noon on Sunday 28th in Leap.

The club/community council lotto is up and running again since the start of the year, so don’t forget to play as the draw takes place every Monday night. Tickets can be bought at the usual local outlets at a price of €2 each or 3 for €5. Also the Lotto can be played online at and also on the Club force app by selecting Leap Lotto.
