Club Notes 28 June 2021
It was a busy week for the club on the playing fields last week. The Junior team played Bantry in Division 2A of the league in Leap on Tuesday 22nd, winning by 0-14 to 0-9. Our under 17s played Uibh Laoire in the first round of the championship also in Leap the following night and were unfortunate to lose by 1-13 to 3-11. On Friday night last the Juniors played Tadhg MacCarthaigh in Division 1A of the league, securing a 1-16 to 0-5 win. Also on Friday night our under 12s travelled to Clonakilty and put in a terrific performance against the home side, winning well. Well done to all involved. It is great to see life getting back to normal.
Our annual clothes collection is up and running again this year. Unwanted clean clothes can be dropped to the clubhouse during any training session in the coming week.
Best of luck to our under 21 team who take on Kilmeen on Thursday 1st at 8 pm in Rosscarbery in the first round of the championship. We are also hosting Gabriel Rangers v Owen Gaels that night, best of luck to both teams.
