Club Notes 12-08-2021
Our annual Kellogg’s Cul Camp took place last week and a hugely enjoyable week was had by all involved. A record 122 children took part and the club would like to pay tribute to Camp Coordinator Des Murphy who put in trojan work all week to make the week run smoothly. Huge thanks to all the coaches that gave up their time to give the children fun filled activities and drills throughout the week.
On Monday evening the 2nd the u12’s welcomed Castletownbere to Leap and yet again playing some excellent football managed another win by 5-18 to 5-7. They then travelled to Glengarriff this past Monday evening to take on Caha Og and once again played some great football and emerged victorious by 2-15 to 1-6.
The u13’s travelled to Union Hall on Saturday morning and after a very difficult few weeks for this group, put in a great effort but had to give way to a stronger Castlehaven side on the day.
