Club Notes 02-09-2021
The club is very appreciative to the McCarthy Family, Glandore Plant Hire who presented a set of underage jerseys last Tuesday evening. At a very difficult time for the family, it was great to see Siobhan, Ann, Jerome, Conall and Donagh present at the GAA grounds along with the U13 football panel. No doubt those jerseys will be worn with pride in fitting memory of Michael McCarthy.
The U12’s continued their impressive form so far this year by defeating a very gallant Argideen Rangers outfit last Monday evening in Leap.
The u7’s, u9’s and u11’s all enjoyed a great morning’s football last Saturday, in Rosscarbery, Castlehaven and Aughaville respectively.
The Junior A Footballers will hopefully get their championship campaign back on track when they take on St Colums in Round 2 of the Carbery Junior A Football Championship. This game is fixed for Sunday evening, the 5th at 6pm. As with the St Marys game, tickets will be available at the gate and all supporters are reminded to comply with COVID-19 protocols.
