Club Notes: 07-04-2022
History was made last Wednesday night when the new Kililen u19 amalgamation played its first ever game in Aughaville. This amalgamation between our-selves and Ilen Rovers is to benefit both clubs who have players that need game time and exposes them to a higher grade of football than they would be used to playing. Nine Kilmacabea players were involved on the night and a great performance was put on with the new team recording their first ever victory, beating Tadgh MacCarthaigh by 4-11 to 2-6. The first ever Kililen team that took to the field was as follows: Edwin Collins, Mark O Sullivan, Shane Carey, Liam Tobin, Eoghan O Donovan, Paudie Gore, Simon O Shea, Owen Tobin, Michael Sheehy, Sean Connolly, John Keating, Eoghan Barry, Robbie McCarthy, Liam McCarthy, Kevin O Driscoll, Conor Burns, Aidan Fahy, Jack McCarthy, Daniel Lucey.
Our U15’s took on Tadgh MacCarthaigh in their first league outing of the year and despite a very hard working performance had to give way to a strong outfit on the night.
