Club Notes: 14-07-2022
No action on the field of play in the past week, so we look ahead to a big week ahead for a number of teams in the club.
On Wednesday evening the U13’s welcome Urhan to Leap in the league with throw in down for 7:30pm. The U15’s are down to play Championship on Monday 18th against Clann Na Gael but please check club social channels for up to date fixture news. Also on Wednesday evening the U19 Kilien team head to Ballinascarthy to take on Owen Gaels in the 1st round of the championship. We wish all the Kilmacabea lads involved with the team the very best of luck.
Then on Saturday evening attention turns to the opening round of the 2022 Bandon Co-op Junior A Football Championship. Our lads will make the short trip to Ardfield to take on familiar foes Kilbrittain in the opening game of Group 3 in this year’s championship. Kilbrittain are no strangers to our lads, having defeated them to capture our first JAFC title in 2017 and also defeating them in the 1st round in 2018. This game has a 7:30pm throw in and we encourage all Kilmacabea supporters to get out and support the lads.

The club/community council lotto is up and running again since the start of the year, so don’t forget to play as the draw takes place every Monday night. Tickets can be bought at the usual local outlets at a price of €2 each or 3 for €5. Also the Lotto can be played online at www.leaplotto.ie and also on the Club force app by selecting Leap Lotto.
Our club monthly draw is once again up and running for 2022. Prizes totally €1000 are up for grabs each month and your support would once again be appreciated. If you would like to purchase a ticket for the draw, please contact any club officer for further payment details.
