Club Notes: 29-09-2022
Well done to Nell Kinsella and her Skibbereen Community Games teammates who played in the All Ireland series over the past weekend in Limerick. Having defeated Ulster in the semi final the team were beaten by Leinster in the final. Nell and her teammates put in a brilliant performance and were unlucky to lose out on the day. Nell was joint captain of the team and has had a wonderful year as she also captained our U12 girls to West Cork glory during the summer.
The draw for the 2022 U21 C Football Championship was made recently with our team drawn in a group with Randal Og and St Colums. This competition is set to get under way in mid October.
The U12’s travelled to Aughaville on Sunday morning to take on Tadhg MacCarthaigh in their league playoff. Despite putting up a great effort it wasn’t to be for this young group who have improved with every game this year.
