Club Notes: 05-10-2023

The Junior A Footballers defeated near neighbours Carbery Rangers in the Quarter Final of the Championship last Sunday evening in Rossmore. On a glorious evening for football, the Kilmacs dug out a victory by 1-15 to 1-12 to advance to a semi final meaning with old rivals Tadgh MacCarthaigh. This semi final is due to be played on Sunday 22nd October at 3:30pm in Skibbereen but this time and date will be officially confirmed in the coming weeks.

Our U10 girls made to short trip to neighbours Castlehaven last Saturday evening to take part in the Eilish Collins U10 Memorial Blitz. They had games against the hosts, Rosscarbery Ladies and Tadgh MacCarthaigh and thanks has to go to Castlehaven for a great evenings football and for their hospitality afterwards.

Our U13’s defeated Kilmichael in the Playoff of the league on Saturday 23rd September last. A great team performance saw the team grind out a great 6-7 to 5-4 win and they now face an away trip to Adrigole to face Caha Og in the league semi final.

The club is delighted to announce that Thomas French won 3rd prize in the September Rebels Bounty Draw. Well done Thomas and enjoy your winnings.

The club/community council lotto is up and running again since the start of the year, so don’t forget to play as the draw takes place every Monday night. Tickets can be bought at the usual local outlets at a price of €2 each or 3 for €5. Also the Lotto can be played online at www.leaplotto.ie and also on the Club force app by selecting Leap Lotto.
