Club Notes: 26-10-2023
Last Sunday afternoon the Junior A Footballers took on great rivals Tadgh MacCarthaigh in the semi final of the championship in Rossa Park, Skibbereen. A great display, full of hunger, desire and passion saw our men come out the right side of an excellent and well deserved eight point victory to advance to another West Cork Final. Final score: Kilmacabea 1-13 Tadgh MacCarthaigh 0-8. It was with great excitement that we awaited the outcome of the second semi final and before long it was known that our opponents would come from Barryroe.
The Carbery Junior A Football Championship Final will take place on Friday 27th October at 8pm in Sam Maguire Park, Dunmanway. As always we ask all our supporters near and far to get behind the team by putting up flags, bunting, maybe even decorating a few scarecrows along the way!! Anyone who wants to wish Shane, Diarmuid and all the lads the very best of luck can do so through all our Social Media channels or by emailing [email protected] . Lets get a big response and drive the lads onto victory once again in 2023. Hon The Kilmacs!!
The club/community council lotto is up and running again since the start of the year, so don’t forget to play as the draw takes place every Monday night. Tickets can be bought at the usual local outlets at a price of €2 each or 3 for €5. Also the Lotto can be played online at www.leaplotto.ie and also on the Club force app by selecting Leap Lotto.
