Club Notes 20-08-2020

The past few weeks have seen a number of teams in competitive action. The u12’s took on Clann Na Gael on Monday 10th August and playing some excellent football, came out on top by 5-16 to 2-11. Well done to all involved in that great victory.

On Wednesday 12th, the Minor footballers travelled to Enniskeane to take on Ahan Gaels in the next round of the Minor football championship. Despite being a young side, the young Kilmacs put in a very brave performance and at times troubled their opponent but ultimately had to give way to a better balanced Ahan side on the night. The result on the night was 3-5 to 3-15.

The Junior C Footballers played their second league game of the season, when they welcomed Goleen to Leap on Friday 7th. This turned out to be a very entertaining game of football, with both sides having their moments on top. Ultimately it came down to a decisive goal for the Kilmacs which eventually won the game by 2-7 to 1-9.

The U16’s were also in action away to Iveleary on Sunday th and came away with a good win by 6-9 to 2-8.
