Damien Gore helps Cork u20’s to victory over Tipperary

Damien Gore and his Cork teammates over came the challenge of Tipperary in the Quarter Final of the Munster U20 Football Championship played in Pairc Ui Rinn on Saturday evening the 16th of June last. On the night Damien made history by became the 1st Kilmacabea player to represent Cork at U20/U21 level.

Despite a sluggish start from the Cork team, they eventually hit their stride and leading by 0-11 to 0-3 at half time, extended this margin to 1-20 to 0-8 by the full time whistle. Although he spent much of the game tightly marked, Damien managed to contribute to the facile victory, by always being willing to look for the ball and working hard in possession he eventually kicked two fine points to cap over a very good night for the Rebels.

They continue their journey in the Munster U20 Football Championship when they take on Clare in the semi final on Friday 22nd June at 7:30pm in Pairc Ui Rinn.
