Club Notes: 17-03-2022
The Junior A Football Championship draw for 2022, took place last Thursday evening in Dunmanway. The format of the draw has been changed, with a reduce number of teams in the championship down to 16 meaning that a group stage has been introduced before a knockout format from the quarter finals on-wards. The Kilmacs were placed in the pot of top seeds and were drawn in Roinn 3 along with Ballinascarty, Clonakilty and Kilbrittain. With two teams emerging from the four groups, every game will be vital. The full draw was as follows:

Tadgh MacCarthigh; Argideen Rangers; Bandon; Barryroe
Roinn 2:
St James; St Marys; St Colums; Castlehaven
Roinn 3:
KILMACABEA; Ballinascarthy; Clonakilty; Kilbrittain
Roinn 4:
Carbery Rangers; Newcestown; Muintir Bhaire; Randal Og
The format of the draw means that we know the order in which we play everyone in our group so our opening game will be against Ballinascarthy, next up will be Kilbrittain and then we finish the group stages against Clonakilty.
