Club Notes: 31-03-2022

The past two weeks have seen the club open their seasons in both the U13 and Junior C age groups. On Friday 18th the U13 footballers opened their 2022 league campaign with a great win over Clonakilty 2 by 5-15 to 2-5. There was very little time to rest for this group as on Sunday 20th the group travelled to Drimoleague and once again put in a great display to defeat the home side by 2-10 to 1-1. Two great results to start the season and we wait to see how this group develops throughout the year.

On Saturday night last the 26th, the Junior C Footballers got their season underway when they travelled to Aughaville to take on Tadgh MacCarthaigh. Lining out with a great mix of youth and experience the team put in a fantastic performance and were very unlucky to come out on the wrong side by a single point of a very high scoring game. The result for the record was Kilmacabea 5-9 Tadgh MacCarthaigh 4-13.
