Club Notes: 09-02-2023
Well done to all those that represented the club at the Carbery Scor Na bPaisti semi finals in Ballydehob last Sunday afternoon. Of all the clubs that took part, Kilmacabea were the only one’s that had entries in all eight categories. Each act represented that club extremely well and all scored highly on the day. Special mention goes to our Trath na gCeist quiz team and Novelty Act group that both won their categories and will now go forward to the Carbery finals in Ballinascarthy Hall on Sunday February 19th at 1:30pm. Huge thanks to Cait Ui Lochlainn and her team that got all the acts together and also to all those that travelled to support all our acts.

The deadline for purchasing a ticket is the 20th of March, so don’t delay get your name in with a chance of winning some amazing prizes and supporting your local club.
Club membership is now open and can be accessed by logging onto www.foireann.ie or by contacting any club officer. Membership has been set as the follow for 2023: Adult €80; Family €150 Underage €50 LGFA membership €50 and is due for payment before early March.
The club/community council lotto is up and running again since the start of the year, so don’t forget to play as the draw takes place every Monday night. Tickets can be bought at the usual local outlets at a price of €2 each or 3 for €5. Also the Lotto can be played online at www.leaplotto.ie and also on the Club force app by selecting Leap Lotto.
