Club Notes: 12-10-2023

The U13’s made the long trip to Adrigole last Saturday morning to take on Caha Og in the semi final of the league. This group have been improving as the year has gone on and were unlucky to come up against a better team on the day.

The U8 boys travelled to Pairc Ui Chaoimh on Saturday morning and had a very enjoyable mornings football in their end of season blitz. Thanks to all the coaches and parents who have helped out this group throughout the year.

Congratulations has to be extended to Emma O Callaghan from Maultrahane who was in goal for Castlehavens Senior Ladies team that won the Senior B county title in MTU Cork on Saturday last. Emma’s connections to Kilmacabea couldn’t be closer, as one of her brother’s Diarmuid is the captain of our Junior A Footballers this year and her father Derry is a former player and officier with the club.

The Junior C team will play their opening game of this years Junior C/D Championship on this Saturday 14th at 5pm in Rosscarbery against Carbery Rangers. The other team in this group are Castlehaven.

The U16’s are due to play Urhan in the League Final on Saturday 14th at 4pm in Adrigole.

Please check before travelling for both this games, updates will be posted on club social media.
